VIP Petcare partnered with Wilmington, N.C.-based paws4people, a public charity that places, trains, certifies and insures assistance dogs. These service animals help children and adults with life-altering physical, neurological, psychological and/or behavioral disabilities. The organization also supports veterans, service members, and their dependents through its paws4vets Assistance Dog Placement Program. paws4people was founded in 1999 and in the last 18 years, it has placed over 600 dogs in 26 states.

Through a network of community clinics in 31 states, VIP Petcare provides a variety of preventive pet care services. These services include vaccinations, diagnostic testing, microchipping (including free lifetime registration) and prescription parasite prevention and medications. The clinics are scheduled for specific times at host locations on both weekends and weeknights, and do not require an appointment.

"Every paws4people and paws4vets dog needs annual veterinary wellness services to keep him or her healthy and safe,” said Kyria L. Henry, founder and executive director of paws4people. “VIP Petcare is generously providing these vital services at a discounted rate for all of our dogs.”

“We are thrilled to be working closely with the paws4people family, and look forward to providing veterinary wellness care, including check ups, required vaccinations, flea and tick control and heartworm prevention to each and every dog during the next year,” said Paige Mazzoni, chief marketing officer, VIP Petcare.
