Wag N’ Wash Reveals 2019 Milestones & Achievements

Wag N’ Wash Natural Pet Food & Grooming shares its highlights from 2019, including its 20th anniversary, adding executive team members, launching new operational tools and reaching fundraising milestones.

Wag N’ Wash welcomed key team members to its corporate headquarters in recent months, including Kristen Wellen as vice president of marketing, Amanda Moore as senior marketing manager and Brooklynn McMurray as district manager. The brand also rolled out a new email marketing platform and introduced a new social media management tool to help increase its marketing efforts systemwide. 

Among these developments, Wag N’ Wash generated double-digit same store sales growth and celebrated notable franchise locations wins including the Phoenix store’s 30 percent increase in year over year sales and the Queen Anne store’s roll out of online ordering. 

Wag N’ Wash also held its most recent national fundraising campaign for Freedom Service Dogs. The brand’s loyal customers, employees and supporters raised upwards of $17,000 for the nonprofit organization. All proceeds contributed to Freedom Service Dogs’ mission of helping veterans who have made life-altering sacrifices unite with service dogs from the program. This year, the International Franchise Association recognized Wag N’ Wash’s efforts for the campaign with a “Support Our Veterans” award during its Franchising Gives Back ceremony.

"In our 20th year of business, we’ve made a number of exciting developments that are taking Wag N’ Wash to the next level…but we’re still staying rooted in who we are,” said Rob Flanagan, president of Wag N’ Wash Natural Pet Food & Grooming. “With each innovative tool we introduce to our franchise owners or improvements we make in stores, our end goal is always to enhance the bond between companion pets and their guardians.”

The specialty pet retailer aims to continue to grow its footprint with qualified franchise owners. In the coming months, the brand is expected to open its newest location in Northeast Dallas with new franchise operator Tom Dang. Wag N’ Wash will also launch its new website in 2020 to enhance customer experience and provide a more hyper-localized online presence for each Wag N’ Wash store.
