Wisdom Panel Reveals its 2020 Pet Census

Wisdom Panel created a 2020 Pet Census to provide insights into the nation’s cats and dogs.

The census asks owners a variety of questions, including the pet’s size, breed, activity levels and overall lifestyle to better understand the life of American pets. It will close on July 17, and results will likely be released during the first week of August.

In 2010, Wisdom conducted the first ever Mutt Census, which received 16,000+ responses. This year’s survey will include cats and dogs, and the answers—combined with insights for Wisdom Panel’s genetic database—will help identify changes and trends in pet care.
