WizSmart Continues Its "WizSmart Gives Back" Initiative
Petix, the manufacturer of WizSmart All Day Dry Premium Dog Pads, celebrated its second year in the U.S. by continuing the “WizSmart Gives Back” initiative in support of animal shelters and rescue groups located across the country.
“Helping every dog and puppy in need of an indoor potty solution and eliminating unnecessary stress around potty training or convalescence is at the heart of our brand,” said Krister Holm, general manager of Petix Company LLC. “We are proud of our environmentally friendly product and are committed to helping pet parents maintain a healthy, sustainable lifestyle for the beloved animals in their lives.”
As part of the program, WizSmart is donating more than 4,000 of its dog pee pads to shelter pets, fosters and adopting families to use in helping ease the challenge of potty training.
Recipients of the second annual WizSmart Gives Back initiative include: The Amanda Foundation in Beverly Hills, NKLA Adoption Center in Los Angeles, Downtown Dog Rescue in Vernon, Calif., East County Animal Rescue in El Cajon, Calif., PAWS Coronado Cats and Dogs in Coronado, Calif., San Diego Humane Society, Oregon Humane Society in Portland, The Pixie Project in Portland, Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue, Wash., Emerald City Pet Rescue in Seattle, Dog Gone Seattle, and Panda Paws Rescue in Washougal, Wash.
“We remain dedicated to our mission of creating a better dog pee pad and to that end, we’ve introduced new sizes and varying absorbencies,” said Holm. “We feel that it is only natural that we continue to give back to organizations around the country working hard each day to help animals in need.”
WizSmart pads provide an all-in-one, dog and puppy pad option for pet parents looking for either a short or long term indoor potty solution. The keeps pads keep both pets and homes clean by being absorbent, quick drying and leak proof. WizSmart pads also feature stay put adhesive tabs that can be used to secure the pad to the floor or the wall at a 90° angle, to serve as a target for male dogs.
Petix is an eco-friendly company that takes more than 120 million unused baby diapers each year and turns them into an absorbent blend for its pads. The absorbency of one pad can last all day, and it’s available in all 50 states in over 800 retail stores.
