Woof Gang Bakery Opens First New Mexico Store

Woof Gang Bakery will celebrate the opening of the its first New Mexico store with a grand opening event from Aug. 8 through Aug. 22.

The new Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming location is a locally-owned franchise, offering professional pet grooming and a wide selection of healthy pet foods, gourmet baked treats, toys, accessories and pet supplies. Throughout the grand opening event, customers can enter to win raffle prizes, including free pet food for a year, free dog treats for a year, collar and leash sets, a gift basket filled with dog toys and more pet pampering products. Customers will receive a free bag of Woof Gang Bakery gourmet dog treats with all pet grooming appointments booked during the grand opening period, and pet nail trims will be half-price.

New Mexico residents and Albuquerque locals Lucy Romero and Doug Wood are the franchise owners of the new Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming store. Romero previously owned and operated the first and only mobile dog treat truck in New Mexico, and Wood is a military veteran and retired law enforcement officer. The couple will offer a 10 percent discount on retail items to active military, veterans and law enforcement officers, as well as support their local community.
