Ziwi Announces Sales Team Changes

Ziwi recently made leadership changes to its sales team. The air-dried pet nutrition company promoted Adam Bird to regional manager West – U.S. and Canada. Ray Lipscomb also joined the Ziwi sales team in April as a territory manager in the Southwest U.S.

In his new role, Bird will have the primary responsibility for the development and execution of annual sales plans, lead a team of territory managers and market managers, manage key accounts, and serve as the relationship manager for Ziwi’s distribution partners in the western U.S. and Western Canada.

“Adam’s knowledge of pet nutrition, commitment to excellence, and passion for the Ziwi brand has been a key part of our success,” said Mary Helen Horn, president and executive director of Ziwi. “We have no doubt that, under his leadership, we will continue to see strong growth in these regions.”

Bird joined the Ziwi team in early 2017 as a territory manager and has successfully managed both the lower Midwest Region and the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada regions for the company.

Lipscomb, who is based in the greater Los Angeles area, is responsible for representing Ziwi’s expanding portfolio to pet specialty retailers in a multi-state area, which includes Southern California, southern Nevada and Arizona.

“Ray’s extensive experience, combined with his passion for pets and relationship-building skills will definitely be an asset to the Ziwi team,” said Bird. “With all the new innovations in the Ziwi pipeline, Ray’s coming on board at an exciting time.”
