TAMPA, Fla.—Kakadu Pet has launched two new product lines, Pet Cots and Explorer dog coats. The coats come in two styles: either with a nylon outer layer and fleece lining or a double-fleece version.

The Pet Cot, a raised pet bed, is designed to help keep pets cool in the summer and warm in the winter. During the summer, it allows air to circulate underneath dogs and cats to help regulate their body temperature while relaxing outside. During the winter, it keeps animals up off of the cold, hard ground. Because it’s suspended, like a hammock, it can also benefit elderly and arthritic dogs by keeping them from laying on aching bones and joints.
