Planet Dog Foundation Helping Search Dogs in Haiti
January 27, 2010

PORTLAND, Maine—The Planet Dog Foundation is making an emergency donation to the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation to support the efforts of their teams currently active in Haiti.

Donations made to the Planet Dog Foundation's Matching Grant Program for Haiti by Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 will be matched by the Planet Dog Foundation. Then this total will be matched by Joanne Woodward Newman, of Newman's Own, and the Newman Foundation--essentially quadrupling the original donation.

Donations can be made at the Planet Dog Company Store at 211 Marginal Way in Portland, Maine, or mailed with this downloadable form to Planet Dog Foundation, 49 York Street, Portland, ME 04101. Please note that it is a gift for the Matching Grant Program for Haiti.

Planet Dog Foundation will match all pledges up to $1,500 and send a donation to the Search Dog Foundation on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010.  The Newman Foundation will match the Planet Dog Foundation gift on Feb. 15.
