VERNON, Conn.—The manufacturer of the Bravo! family of fresh frozen raw diet products now offers a line of training treats. Bravo! Training Treats are 100 percent grain-free treats made from 100 percent muscle meat using antibiotic-free poultry and grass-fed red meats in Bravo!’s USDA facility. As with all Bravo! products, the treats contain no fillers, preservatives or additives of any kind.
Bravo! Training Treats are a quarter-inch square in size and available in four flavors, including turkey, buffalo, all-beef hot dog and trail mix (a combination of turkey, hot dog, buffalo and Vermont cheddar cheese). The protein types were selected because of their proper fat to pure protein ratio for a healthful treat, as well as for their flavor, texture and smell appeal to the dog. According to the company, this allows for more rapid teaching of the desired behavior, a motivated dog trains far more easily.
Each protein type is packaged in a four-ounce heavy duty resealable plastic bag for convenience and ease of use. Each package will contain approximately 200 bites and will retail for about $8.99.
According to David Bogner, Bravo! owner and co-founder, training treats were a natural next step for the company devoted to a healthy pet lifestyle. “We’re seeing more people investing in their relationship with their pets," he said. "A big part of that is training, which requires you to use lots of treats, so why not make them healthful treats."
Bravo! will support the launch with a print campaign, introductory coupons, free samples and a partnership with Karen Pryor Clickertraining’s national network of more than 150 certified “clicker” training partners. Each Bravo! Training Treats package will be branded with a training tip courtesy of Karen Pryor. Online training videos from Karen Pryor Clickertraining will also be available on the Bravo!’s website.
