Longtime RFG Employee Dies

David Brue, a key account manager at RFG Distributing, died Jan. 18. He was 57.

Brue joined RFG in 1976. He worked in the warehouse and made deliveries. His strong work ethic quickly earned him the warehouse and delivery manager position. He held many different positions before becoming the key account manager.

"As a teenager, Dave Brue was my mentor. As a young adult he became my co-worker. As time passed on, Dave became my employee, but the one thing that always remained constant was Dave was my friend," says Steve Thoeny, president of RFG Distributing.

"Dave Brue was a kind, hardworking man who will remain an inspiration to all of us at RFG."

Brue is survived by his wife Jeanne; children James, Jessica and Jennifer; grandchildren Vanessa and Claudia; mother Lois; and sisters Kathleen, Jeanette and Marlene.
