Splash and Dash for Dogs, a membership-based dog-bathing program, has launched its Splash Into More Cash Giveaway contest, which gives grooming-salon owners the chance to become one of the program’s participating salons free of charge.
Splash and Dash for Dogs allows its members to have their dogs brushed, bathed and dried an unlimited number of times per month at participating grooming salons for one low monthly fee. The program provides extra income and customer loyalty for storeowners. “Splash and Dash For dogs runs parallel [to a store’s] grooming [services], but does not crossover,” says Dan Barton, founder and president of Splash and Dash for Dogs.
Splash and Dash for Dogs will waive its startup fee (a $12,000 value) for the contest winner. “The real value [for the winner] will be six months down the road, when they don’t have to rely so heavily on their grooming or retail business to support the shop,” Barton says.
Salon owners can enter the contest through the company’s website, splashanddashfordogs.com. In addition, attendees at Groom Expo in Hershey, Pa., can enter by visiting the Grooming Business booth, and attendees at H.H. Backer’s Total Pet Expo in Rosemont, Ill., can enter by visiting the Pet Business booth.
