The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) has launched a membership created specifically for pet parents. The new membership features three levels to fit pet parents' needs.
"Through the pet parent membership, NAPPS is offering education opportunities and several special deals and discounts, specifically for pet parents," said Sherry Suhosky, president of NAPPS.
The three-tiered memberships include the Charter Membership for $15 through October 2013 when a membership is renewed on time, the $25 Basic Membership and the $10 Gift Membership, which can be given as gifts to clients, friends, family, etc.
The benefits of membership are: access to online library of informative articles for caring for a wide range of animals from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, hamsters, and guinea pigs; access to free quarterly Pet Parent Teleconference with special guest speakers to discuss informative pet-related topics; and copies of quarterly e-newsletter, coupons, discounts and more.
"The Pet Parent membership is perfect for anyone wishing to enhance or enrich their pet care knowledge on a wide variety of topics," Suhosky said.
Pet parents will be offered educational opportunities on topics like animal nutrition and exercise, behavior, selecting a pet, caring for senior pets, caring for puppies/kittens and disaster preparedness/emergency planning.
