Bayer Calls for Chatty Cats
September 16, 2013

Bayer HealthCare Animal Health is calling on cat owners to speak for their cats in its Advantage II for cats Chatty Cat Challenge. The contest asks cat owners to submit a photo, meme or video of their cat, along with a 100-word (maximum) narrative that reveals the secrets to keeping their cat healthy and happy.

"Bayer HealthCare recognizes that two of the keys to managing feline health are regular veterinary care and year-round use of a monthly flea preventive," said Dave Van Brunt, vice president of the companion animal business unit at Bayer HealthCare's Animal Health division, North America. "There are other things that contribute to feline well-being, but cats aren't chatting about them, so we need owners to help give their cats a voice."

Cat owners can submit their entries from the cat's point of view on ChattyCatChallenge.com through Sept. 30. Submissions will be posted on the website, and a public vote will determine the top 10 finalists.

The grand prize winner will receive a three-year supply of Advantage II for cats, a premium cat carrier and an iPad mini. Nine finalists will each receive a one-year supply of Advantage II for cats and a premium cat carrier.

Advantage II for cats is a monthly topical flea preventive that kills fleas through contact.
