Christopher Charles George, former sales and marketing manager for PetRageous Designs, died on May 28. He was 37.
George began working for PetRageous in 2004 and spent nearly seven years with the company as the sales manager and marketing manager. He was in charge of tradeshows and all advertising.
“He loved to travel whether it was for shows or to visit customers or to spend time at his distributors,” says Gretchen George, owner of PetRageous Designs and George’s stepmother. “He loved selling pet products—he really did.”
More recently, he worked as a horticulturist at the Aspen Glen Country Club in Colorado. He was also a member of the board of directors for the Aspen, Colo., affiliate of Susan G. Komen Fund, and he volunteered at the Colorado Animal Rescue League.
“Chris had a wonderful magnetic personality, and whomever he met, he loved them and they loved him,” George says. “It was throughout his short life that he made lifelong friends from grade school straight through his six and a half years at PetRageous Designs. He is surely missed and will be forever in our hearts.”
