PBI-Gordon Corporation has purchased pet healthcare product company PetAg, Inc. through an acquisition of all shares of the company’s stock.
Through the acquisition, PBI-Gordon significantly increased the depth of its Consumer Animal Products business unit, which includes the Lambert Kay brand, by adding PetAg’s well-known portfolio of nutritional supplements and healthcare products. Brands under the PetAg umbrella include Esbilac, KMR, Bene-Bac, Mirra-Coat, Foal-Lac, Multi-Milk, PetLac, Vive, Zoologic, Rawhide Brand, Chunky Chews, Pink Parrot, Fermacto and Bospro.

Darlene Frudakis, the former president and COO of PetAg, Inc., will remain with the business as president of strategic trade development for the PetAg/Lambert Kay product lines.
