Get a Holiday Spirit Boost with Christmas Cats TV

We’re nearing the end of the first week of December, and if you’re not in the holiday spirit yet, Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, may have just the dose of holiday cheer you need. The company launched Christmas Cats TV, an online interactive live stream Christmas scene that features adoptable cats on Wednesday, and the Internet has been buzzing about it since.

The live stream features the silly antics of a grandma “cat lady” in her home, rocking, knitting and hanging out with a room full of adoptable cats from the North Shore Animal League of America. An elf also makes appearances with white board message shout-outs to viewers and information on the adoptable cats. Cats can be seen toying with Christmas ornaments or batting at the Christmas tree, while viewers enjoy holiday music from Legacy’s Classic Christmas Album series.

Viewers can also view the Christmas Cat bios and help find homes for the cats available for adoption. Profiles on the adoptable cats are available on North Shore Animal League of America’s website.

With its charitable message and cheerful soundtrack, what more could a cat lover—or any animal lover for that matter—ask for to get into the holiday spirit? The live stream ends today, so I’d suggest getting in a nice viewing session before it goes off the air.
