Blackwood Pet Food has redesigned the packaging for its Adirondack and Makin’ Trax product brands. Ideas that Kick, the Minneapolis-based design consultancy that created the company’s flagship brand two years ago, created the packaging system. The concepts were designed to appeal to pet owners who value outdoor time with their animal companions and appreciate the quality of food made in the USA. The Adirondack packaging utilizes nature photography and bright colors to differentiate recipes and tell a story targeted at adventure-seeking pet owners, while the packaging for Makin’ Trax targets hunters and their families.
