Concord Pet Foods and Supplies added five locations to its 22-store chain with the acquisition of Cutter’s Mill pet stores. The acquisition enabled Concord to quickly move into the Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets that the retailer had previously targeted for expansion.
The company plans to re-brand the Cutter’s Mill locations under the Concord banner over the next few months. The stores, which range in size from approximately 5,500–7,500 square feet, will keep their original “look and feel.”
“Concord Pet looks forward to integrating the natural feel of Cutter’s Mill into our retail family, while building our reputation in these strong markets,” said Lindsay Mutschler, CFO of Concord Pet Foods and Supplies.
