Caru Pet Food Unveils Its Debut Product Lines
March 24, 2014

Caru Pet Food has introduced its debut product lines: super-premium stew and treats for dogs. Caru Real Beef, Chicken, Turkey and Pork Stews have USDA-inspected meat or poultry as the first ingredient, along with carefully selected vegetables and fruit.

The recipes are prepared in small batches in the U.S., and do not contain wheat, gluten, corn, soy or animal by-products. The Stews are packed in Tetra Pak cartons, allowing the company “to provide a shelf-stable line without preservatives,” said company founder Adrian Pettyan.

The company is touting the benefits of its Tetra Pak cartons. “They’re made from BPA-free materials that are biodegradable. And since these packages present a flat face, unlike cans, they are more impactful when displayed on shelf,” Pettyan said. The packages are also easy to open, serve, close, travel with and store.
