Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA)’s board of directors met and elected Jeff Boyd, immediate past chairman, to step back in as chairman of the board.
The announcement follows the news that PIDA’s now former chairman, Keith Bornholtz, resigned from Central Pet Distribution. Boyd will fulfill Bornholtz’s first term through Jan. 2022.
Greg Andrews, president of Central Pet Distribution, was appointed by Boyd and accepted by the entire board to fill the remainder of Bornholtz’s three-year board term.
Prior to this change, in February, after Todd Shelton’s departure from Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, Bornholtz had appointed, with the board’s acceptance, Bill Hooker, senior vice president sales and marketing of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, to fill the remainder of Shelton’s three-year board term.
